Charities Might Stifle the Voice of Passionate Employees on Social Media

Employees are often urged to keep separate personal and professional accounts on social media sites. But digital strategist, Debra Askanas, informs that it is an obsolete and "counterproductive thinking".

By keeping separate accounts, charities might be repressing the voice of their most impassioned employees. Instead of monitoring employee profiles, charities should encourage sharing and promoting what their respective nonprofit advocacy is all about.
