The Modesto City Council has recently announced it would approve two programs that would spend up to $450,000 in federal budget to boost the economic way of living of low- and moderate-income residents.
The first program would provide as much as $200,000 to help home-based caterers and child-care providers in west Modesto; the second program would provide as much as $250,000 in loans to small businesses.
