Early Depression Causes Cardiac Risks in Teens

Cardiologists and mental health professionals find that there's a link between depression and heart disease. Teens who have suffered depression as kids are prone to cardiac risks later in life.

The research is conducted by scientists at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and the University of Pittsburgh. The findings are shown at the annual meeting of the American Psychosomatic Society in Miami, Florida.
