HUD Awards $12.4 Million to Cincinnati and Hamilton County to Stifle Homelessness


The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awards over $12.4 million to tackle the issue of homelessness in Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

The funds are provided through HUDís Continuum of Care programs, and it will assist a number of shelters, housing support and counseling initiatives to continue their work this year.

The Acceso Peanut Enterprise Corp., a social enterprise launched by The Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, is created to help more than 12,000 small holder peanut farmers in Haiti. The Partnership is a Clinton Foundation initiative designed to foster economic development and alleviate poverty.
