The NCD is an independent federal agency that offers recommendations to the President, Congress, and other federal agencies on disability policy.

Recently, National Council on Disability (NCD) delivers a report called "Medicaid Managed Care for People with Disabilities: Policy and Implementation Considerations for State and Federal Policymakers" to support the implementation of managed care reforms that will benefit people with disabilities.
