Greenhouse Gas Policies Should Consider Household Income Levels

A University of Alberta (UA) study informs that government policies aimed at lowering greenhouse gas emissions should be looking at household income levels of consumers.

Published recently online in the journal Environment and Behaviour, the study observes income disparity hasn't been an aspect of current government policies. The study aims to inform governments to avoid placing an unfair financial burden on people who can least afford environment-geared taxes.
