Nao the Humanoid Robot Helps Train Kids with Autism

The two-foot tall humanoid robot named NAO helps train children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

NAO is a small robot acting as a "front man" for the children. It is programmed with a series of verbal prompts and movements that imitate gestures human therapists make in joint attention training for autistic kids.
