Vermont Law School’s Environmental Law Center (ELC) welcomes its water law scholar as the agency's new director. The ELC trains and supports individuals to be environmental leaders in nonprofits, government and private sectors.
Melissa Scanlan is a Water Law and Policy Scholar at the University of Wisconsin Law School. She will be leading ELC this June. Vermont Law School has the largest environmental program of any law school nationwide.
