Senate Approves Bill in Adding Members to the Interagency Council on Homelessness

The Senate passes a bill decreeing the addition of three members in the Interagency Council on Homelessness.

To join the Council, one should be a ProvidenceVeterans Administration Medical Center member. The bill is sponsored by Democratic member of the Rhode Island State Senate Juan M. Pichardo.The bill mandates that all new members be selected and approved by a majority of the members present at an official meeting.
