Homelessness Associated with Traumatic Brain Injury

New study finds that homeless people have higher risk for traumatic brain injury (TBI) rather than the general population.

Led by Dr. Topolovec-Vranic and her colleagues in the Head Injury Clinic at St. Michael’s Hospital, they examined all the recent scientific studies on homelessness and traumatic brain injuries. The study appears at the BMC Public Health journal.
