A free brownfields seminar will be held at the Convention Hall on Wednesday. Brownfields are abandoned or unused industrial or commercial sites that can be re-developed.
Through its CHSR and its Technical Assistance to Brownfields program, Kansas State University will be hosting the free seminar to present information on available funding for the redevelopment of brownfields within EPA and ODEQ guidelines.
