Park amenities differ in some communities across America. Some park amenities are lacking due to the level of neighborhood incomes.

In a study completed in Kansas City, Missouri, a research team discovered that low-income neighborhoods had more parks but are less attractive and had fewer amenities, while middle-class areas had more features or landscaping.
