The Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network (CoCoRaHS) seeks volunteer weather observers to to measure rainfall in their backyards in North Carolina.
The network will use the data gathered by volunteers to enhance official measurements produced by government weather stations. North Carolina's rural areas have been particularly chosen because it has one of the most complex weather conditions this side of the United States.
