New Findings Suggest Community Gardening Boosts More Than Nutrition

According to a team of researchers at the University of Utah, people who take on community gardening have a lower body mass index (BMI) as well as offer a variety of social benefits to the residents of the community.

The study starts to provide insight on the benefits of the choices individuals and families make about their eating and physical activities. The findings are published online in the American Journal of Public Health.
