FAAS Salutes Over 100 Volunteers on National Volunteer Week

Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS), a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization committed to caring for homeless pets in Alameda, gives thanks to its over 100 volunteer corps for their dedication to helping adoptable pets in the locality in honor of National Volunteer Week.

The FAAS staff relies on its volunteers to pitch in wherever they are needed such as working in the office, walking and bathing animals, organizing and raising money during events among others.
