Socrates in the Spotlight

Known as the patron saint of liberal education, Socrates is also recognized as one of the founders of Western Philosophy. However, he is not credited to be an active participant of civic engagement.

In light of the Greek Athenian philosopher, Cathy Davidson of Duke University and Eileen McCulloch-Lovell, president of Marlborough College aims for the "curriculum for real-world success" which starts with Socrates and other historical greats and ends with "an eye-opening year of entrepreneurial, service-oriented practical work."
