Additional affluent families and individuals the world over have pledged to make a commitment to give most of their wealth to philanthropic causes. This is in part of the Giving Pledge, a philanthropic campaign established by billionaires Warren Buffet and Bill Gates.

One of the billionaires that have made the pledge commitment includes American businessman and founder and chairman of a global real estate development company, Stephen Ross.
