Entrepreneurial Phillanthropy Rising in Asia

According to a report out of the Asia Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy at the National University of Singapore, entrepreneurial philanthropy is on the rise in Asia. The working paper attributes this rise to an increase in social entrepreneurship and what it terms as an 'emergent generation of philanthropists.'

The paper reports a tripling in philanthropic giving from 2001 to 2011 to a total of $692 Million.
