Local Advocates Develop Recommendations to End Homelessness in Saskatoon

A two-day forum gathered local advocates to fight homelessness in Saskatoon. The advocates have plugged 72 recommendations that the United Way will use to unveil a plan next month.

The forum, called a charette, is an idea that assembled stakeholders to come up with concrete ways to fight homelessness in the locality. The forum's attendees were asked to pin down the barriers that prevent people from getting a permanent residence meant for habitation.
