According to a new study published online by the British Journal of Psychiatry, mindfulness could alleviate stress and even boost the wellbeing among school children.
Mindfulness is a form of mental training that develops sustained attention. Findings of the study show that mindfulness-based interventions are just as effective for adults at enhancing mental health and wellbeing. The study was conducted by a team of researchers led by Professor Willem Kuyken from the University of Exeter.
