Civic Engagement: Key for Unemployment Reduction

According to the National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC), civic engagement is capable of reducing unemployment rates across the country.

In a (NCoC) data, states that have low volunteer rates are likely to have high unemployment numbers. The study also finds other economic factors are not statistically significant indicators of unemployment change.
