Teens Sleep in Cardboard Boxes for Homeless Fundraiser

Minersville Leo Club teenage members spent their time in cardboard boxes to raise awareness and funds for the homeless for the club's fourth annual 24-hour "Homeless Sleepout."

The members experienced being in a homeless person's shoes ,or box, for a night. The cardboard boxes were seen just outside the Minersville American Legion. The club is a youth-based organization sponsored by local Lions Clubs.
