Middle Class Education Helps Spur Economic Development


At the annual Northeast Missouri Development Partnership conference held at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Dane Stangler, director of Research and Policy at the Kauffman Foundation, emphasizes the importance of economic development.
However, Stangler notes that Northeast Missouri isn't upping the ante when it comes to economic development and entrepreneurship. He observes that Northeast Missouri has only a few resources capable of running a business. Stangler advocated for middle class education as key to economic growth and future entrepreneurial thinking.
