Parent and Children Chats Focusing on Weight Links to Increased Risk for Unhealthy Eating


According to a study published Online First by JAMA Pediatrics, parent and child conversations that delve on weight and size are linked with an increased risk for unhealthy weight-control behaviors.

The University of Minnesota research team learned that overweight teens whose folks occupied in conversations that focused only on healthful eating were less likely to forego unhealthy dieting.
