Jeff Papows on Quantitative Philanthropy


Former Lotus CEO and one of the most influential IT thought leaders, Dr. Jeff Papows, is also a supporter of charity. As a board member of Children's Wish Foundation International, he makes clear about the rising "quantitative philanthropy" trend.

Quantitative philanthropy is a new concept that makes people become more focused on earning more to give more, according to a Reuters article. Papows advocated the legitimacy of the concept and expresses his opinion that it is still essential to consider the whole picture, rather than measure results gathered from the overall resources spent for charity.
