Embarking on start-up social enterprises can be the most critical, according to Hila Mehr, StartingBloc Fellow and author.

There has been lack of support and leadership development funding for start-up businesses until recently. Mehr writes that an able-bodies support community can be better for social entrepreneurs as it strengthens social ventures, leadership and business capacity, and channels for investment returns and success.
