According to a report announced by Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, there is a significant decline in state homelessness.
The report shows overall homelessness has dropped by 16 percent. McDonnell's efforts in reducing homelessness in the state have come to a successful fruition. Permanent housing options are ultimately the solutions to decreasing homelessness and poverty among Virginia's vulnerable.
