Children Lacking in Motor Skills More Likely to Struggle Socially

According to new evidence published in the July issue of Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly, children lacking in motor skills may result to social ineptitude.

Motor skills, which include catching and throwing, can be crucial for kids to disguising their incapacity to participate in basic physical exercises. However, motor skills can be taught, says Megan MacDonald, assistant professor in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences at Oregon State University.
