Volunteer Spirit Alive and Well Among Older Adults

In a recent study by AARP, a nonprofit organization that helps people aged 50 and above improve the quality of their lives, the spirit of volunteering is alive and well among older generations.

Older adults often choose to volunteer with youth-based groups with baby boomers and Gen Xers rated volunteering to serve children highest on their priority lists, according to the study.
