The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announces the awarding of $1 million to the Covering Kids and Families of Indiana to support Medicaid coverage and Health Insurance Programs among children.
According to Kathleen Sebelius, HHS Secretary, the funding is a part of $32 million awarded to 41 groups in 22 states as part of a hundred million-dollar outreach campaign. The grants enable outreach in low-income areas to help families through the application process.
