Social Entrepreneur Receives $834,600 Trillium Future Grant

Hamoon Ekhtiari, a Regent Park’s School for Social Entrepreneurs-Ontario, received a $834,600 Trillium grant to create a social impact online tool and help connect Toronto's young social entrepreneurs to each other with existing resources.

Ekhtiari is an Iranian immigrant who has been establishing opportunities for himself and others since he lived in Toronto with his family as a teen. He is also a math whiz and an accountant.
